Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software.
- Monitor server performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection and disaster recovery.
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve server issues and outages.
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
- Manage user accounts and permissions to ensure data integrity and security.
- Update and patch server software as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Server Administrator or similar role.
- Strong understanding of server hardware and software.
- Experience with server monitoring and management tools.
- Familiarity with various operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux).
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
